Boards of Review
When
a Scout has completed all of the
requirements for a rank, the final
step to get that rank is passing a board
of review. The board verifies
that the Scout has met all the
requirements of the new rank by checking
the Scout’s book for signoffs and
questioning the Scout about
details of the rank.
A
board
of review is made up of Troop Committee
members only; no Boy Scouts
sit on the boards. Eagle boards of
review are a special
process.
Talk with the Scoutmaster for more
details on the Eagle review process.
For
more information about boards of review,
see the Troop
216 Board of Review Guidelines
document.
